Here are some tips for maintaining healthy diets for the  elderly.
1. Eat different kinds of food. Avoiding health problems is all about  moderation. If you have fallen into a habit of eating a certain type of food in  excess throughout your life, then you may very well feel the effects when you  get older. For instance, if you love eating meat, it would be best to stop  eating it. This is because meat is acidic and may give you gastric problems in  the long run.
